New Patient Information
After new patients are scheduled for an initial evaluation, they will receive two emails. One email will be from A Healthy Brain Psychiatry with the new patient intake forms that need to be completed. The email address for this email will be "A Healthy Brain Psychiatry <noreply@kareo.com>" and will have the subject "Fill out your patient forms online". The second email will come from our billing company Headway. The email address that you will see for this email is "Team Headway <noreply@findheadway.com>" and will have the subject "Michael Barnes with Headway". That email will request insurance/billing information and have new patients sign some disclosures. These emails must be completed prior to the first appointment. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder if you do not see the emails.

How does Headway support our clients?
A Healthy Brain Psychiatry uses Headway to manage patient billing and admin work so that we can place all of our focus on our work together. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you. The Headway team will reach out via email to help you set up your account and add your insurance and payment details. You’ll see your cost/session ahead of time and can check your benefits any time here.
Here's the rundown of what clients can expect with Headway:

We'll send an email invite to help clients get their insurance and payment info entered and acknowledge our standard forms (see form 1, form 2).

Ahead of each session, clients will receive appointment reminders with date, time, and estimated cost.

Sessions will be charged to the payment method on file afterward and receive an invoice via email.
